One of the biggest expenses urban caracal research has to cover is fuel. From the coastal zones of Table Mountain National Park to Cape Point National Park and numerous urban areas in between – all are caracal territory.
In order to collar a reasonable population sample group it is essential for our researchers to move constantly within these areas checking field cameras and traps, as well as following up on leads from interested members of the public.
All donations towards fuel costs are valued and much appreciated.
